Abstract
In this Article, we describe the creation andevaluation of a curricular intervention designed to helpfirst-year law students develop lawyering skills whilefostering their ethical and social-emotional development.We call this curricular intervention an Access-to-JusticeService Learning Program. We believe that, at the time ofthis writing, this was the first such program administeredwithin the first-year curriculum of a U.S. law school.
