Why writing?

Thanks to Decoding the Disciplines, I realized that what I do as an "expert" in my subject differs considerably from what I teach in the lecture, precisely at the points that are difficult for my students. I would like to share with my colleagues by writing two different sorts of experience:  specific mathematical content,  and general change of attitude towards teaching produced by decoding praxis.
